Forney LP recently named Peter Jones as Platform Sales Manager. The new position supports the company’s focus on the sales growth of ForneyVault®, its automated, integrated construction materials testing (CMT) platform.
Jones is a results-oriented business leader who has driven the growth and visibility of complex sales, marketing and business operations initiatives. Prior to joining Forney, Jones was Senior Municipal Software Specialist/Multi-Link Division for Link Computer Corporation in Bellwood, Pennsylvania. One of his many achievements in that role was generating more than $2 million in new, monthly recurring revenue with more than 175 customers.
Jones also worked as Commercial Account Manager/Natural Resources for W.W. Grainger, Inc., of Pittsburgh. Plus, he spent 12 years with Sysco Food Services in Pittsburgh, last serving as Business Development Manager.
Jones holds a bachelor’s degree in management/accounting and finance from Hiram College (Ohio). He completed several selling and professional development programs, including: Sandler Sales Training: Peak Performance Management, Selling Foundations Program and DDI: Coaching & Maximizing Performance, Interaction Management.
