WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
This page will guide you through the essential steps to get started with your new ForneyVault subscription. We’ll walk you through setting up your ForneyVault administrator(s) and users, configuring your equipment, and scheduling your training session(s) to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Your 30-day onboarding period will officially begin once we confirm that your new equipment is delivered and enabled. Remember, you won’t see a charge for your subscription until after the 30-day onboarding period has ended.
If you need to assign someone else in your organization to manage the onboarding process, simply share this page link with them, and they can start the process. We’ve designed the steps to be straightforward and user-friendly.
LET’S GET STARTED
STEP 1: Review Your Test Equipment & Confirm Connectivity
If you’ve ordered new test equipment, we’ll be in touch with production lead times and shipment tracking. We recommend that an Authorized Service Provider calibrate your new Forney testing machine to confirm proper setup, operation, and accuracy.
You can find a list of service providers in your area here: Service Provider Finder.
If we’ve verified that your existing test equipment is ForneyVault-ready, no worries, we’ll help coordinate a software update just before your initial training session.
Please ensure your machine(s) can access an internet connection. A wired connection is generally more stable, but WiFi is perfectly fine. Need help connecting? Click here to read our Help Article.
STEP 2: Request Your Login Credentials
Complete this form for each of your team members: Request User Credentials Form.
Once submitted, our Customer Success Team will process the forms during normal East Coast business hours, and each of your team members will receive an automated email with their individual login credentials.
STEP 3 (if applicable): Printer and Scanner Setup and Configuration
If you’ve purchased and received your Printer/Scanner Starter Kit to print labels and enable specimen scanning at your test machine, follow these help guides to set up your unit:
Need help with the configuration? No worries, schedule a call with us to guide you through the setup.
STEP 4 (if applicable): Existing Equipment? Schedule a Software Update
If we’ve previously confirmed that your existing test equipment simply needs a software update to integrate with ForneyVault, tap this link to schedule a convenient time for us to remotely access your machine(s) and update the software.
We recommend scheduling this update for the day before or the morning of a training session. This ensures minimal disruption, allowing your team to continue testing without delays.
STEP 5: Schedule Your Initial Training Session
Once your test equipment is enabled, schedule your initial training session here: ForneyVault Training.
On training day, you should have two or more specimens ready to:
- Create in the software.
- Break on the test machine using ForneyVault.
- Review results and reporting.
Preferably, these would be actual specimens for which you need results, but they can be throw-away specimens just for training purposes.
